Halloween Fun

Halloween Reminders:

Halloween Parade is Friday, October 31st at 3:45pm. The school is closing immediately following the parade at 4:00pm so everyone can enjoy Trick or Treating with their family.
Please bring your child’s costume in a bag labeled with their first and last name.

Here are some Halloween Safety Tips:
1. Remember to walk.
2. Take a flashlight so see where you are going.
3. Walk on the sidewalk.
4. Make sure your costume does not drag.
5. If you wear a mask, be sure you can see out of it.
6. Trick or Treat at the homes of people you know.
7. Go with an adult.
8. Have someone check your candy before eating it.
9. Wear something reflective or take a glow stick so people can see you in the dark.
10. Have fun! Boo!

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came,—
The Ashes, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The sunshine spread a carpet,
And every thing was grand;
Miss Weather led the dancing;
Professor Wind, the band….
The sight was like a rainbow
New-fallen from the sky….
