October is Spook-tacular!

Autumn weather is here and Halloween is quickly approaching! We have some spook-tacular things planned! But first I want to thank our Goddard Family for all their help and support! Our fundraisers were a huge success! We could not have done it with out you!

To get us in the Halloween spirit, we are hosting a Halloween Howl at our school on Tuesday, October 27th at 6:30 PM! Come out and join us! There will be light refreshments, fun games, pumpkin decorating and festive music!

Friday, October 30th we will be celebrating Halloween at our school! We will start off our day with a Halloween Magic Show in the morning! All Goddard families are invited to the Halloween Parade at 3:45 PM! The children will be parading in their costumes promptly at 3:45, so get here early! After the parade there will still be enough time to Trick-or-Treat with your family! Go out and have fun!

While Trick-or-Treating, remember these safety tips!

1. Remember to walk.

2. Take a flashlight so see where you are going.

3. Walk on the sidewalk.

4. Make sure your costume does not drag.

5. If you wear a mask, be sure you can see out of it.

6. Trick or Treat at the homes of people you know.

7. Go with an adult.

8. Have someone check your candy before eating it.

9. Wear something reflective or take a glow stick so people can see you in the dark.

10. Have fun! Boo!

It`s late and we are sleepy,
The air is cold and still.
Our jack-o-lantern grins at us
Upon the window sill.
We`re stuffed with cake and candy
And we`ve had a lot of fun,
But now it`s time to go to bed
And dream of all we`ve done.
We`ll dream of ghosts and goblins
And of witches that we`ve seen,
And we`ll dream of trick-or-treating
On this happy Halloween.
